Healthy Living At Your Library: Meditation & Mindfulness

Meditation has been shown to reduce stress, anxiety and fear, enhancing peace & well-being in each practitioner so our minds can be clear and our emotions can be calm. Thus improving overall health and psychological functioning.

Meditation practices include mindfulness practices (fine-tuning our brain), breathing meditation, walking meditation and sitting in stillness.
