The all-LAB meeting is coming June 1.
Some LABs don’t know what purpose LAB serves: topic for [one of our future] meeting.
Friends’ groups are not all successful with book sales so this would also be a good topic to share at meeting.
Hours are being discussed at commissioners’ meeting. Sunday hours are now time-and-a-half pay (per union contract). Probably won’t have this issue settled before next year. One recurring question Tom has is how busy is library in late nights (7-9pm)? Electronic counters will be used to track usage/time of day. Met with Anne Hammond, the new library director, and talked about the hours issue and getting more info about library usage with a well designedquestionnaire.
