Hispanic Heritage: Mexican History in an Hour

Hispanic Heritage: Mexican History in an Hour

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, the Sonoma County Library presents an informative and interesting seminar, "Mexican History in an Hour." The historical highlights of our neighbor to the south will be presented in an easily digestible manner in order to gain some insight into the country with whom we share a 2,000 mile border.

Laura Gonzalez is an educator with over 27 years in the classroom, and a former elected official to the Santa Rosa School Board. An avid history and genealogy buff, Laura has traveled extensively throughout her ancestral homeland of Mexico.
