Our first art show and reception very successful—the Friends helped pay for the reception and the hanging of the art. Lots of positive feedback

Lisa asked us about the information we would like from her on a regular basis:

Staff changes

Changes in the norms of foot traffic/circulation

Are the new hours being used? (Lisa responded: It’s been normal, but not an increase in numbers. We have a small increase)—

2.4.   Friends’ Report (Marge)

Recruiting new officers is a major concern. Three of the 5 officers are not going to continue.

Nothing eventful in the treasurer’s report

Kunde Reading room—it looks like progress is being made. The project manager is making a difference.

Celebrating the 40th anniversary of this library on Nov. 18.  A big party is being planned.  Ken Brown volunteered to help with the party.

The new newsletter writer is working with Robin Makurak to get a newsletter out. It will probably look different than it was.

Ken Brown spoke regarding the Bronze Friendly Designation in the city.  The issue is the road is in bad shape or there are risky areas in some areas.
